Hey,
It's time for another fun challenge over at Retro Rubber.
This time, we want you to use the sketch -
So I rummaged through my stamps and saw the awesome Reindeer Games set by Art Impressions, I bought it last November when it was released at Michael's making it just over a year old.
I love the sassy lady dressed as a Reindeer / elf. I coloured her using distress inks, aquabrush and promarkers. I then fussy cut her out.
I thought she needed Reindeer paper and so I hunted through my Christmas papers for the scrap you see here. I added a glittery panel for the other border.
I used some creative license and moved the sentiment up the card a bit, but I am guessing Jane will let me have that :)
I know who I am sending this too, my parents have a very sassy neighbour and I bet she would go to a Christmas party dressed as a Reindeer/Elf LOL.
Show us your interpretation of the sketch and head over to Retro Rubber and view the awesome makes by my teammates.
Challenge ends on December 2nd. Don't forget to use a stamp a year or older and tell us about it that's part of the fun. Also, please limit your entries to 10 challenges including ours.

This card made me cackle! How do you find these hilarious stamps?? You put the sketch to great use with this card and I am sure it will be front and center for anyone's holiday card collection. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving (assuming you are celebrating it) and enjoy your time. XO
ReplyDeleteClaire, as soon as I saw this card in the gallery, I had to tell you how much I LoVe this card! The humor is OTT funny!! You really do know how to pick winner stamps!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteMaria stole my comment! I loved this card! So spunky and sassy and truly will be what I look like when I get a bit older. Although I am not ruling out the office Christmas party! Thankfully I see an old lady here and not a turkey - I just about did a spit take when I read your comment on Debbie's blog! Spectacular card!
ReplyDeleteClaire, when I saw your card I just had to smile. The image is so cute and the sentiment is perfect! Thanks for making me smile!
