Retro Rubber Challenge #178 - Anything Goes...

Hey,

WHOOPS!!! I got all confused and jumped ahead two weeks! So I am re-posting this one!

Welcome to another fun Retro Rubber challenge.

We have everyone's fave this time - Anything Goes!!

This is my fave challenge, as I get to raid my stash and I like to mix old with new.

The sentiment is by Concord & 9th from their 'Snail Mail' set that I got last year (Happy Birthday is from the Avery Elle set), paired with my all time fave Avery Elle 'I'm Late' snail stamp that I have had since 2017.

I kept the whole thing simple and popped my happy little snail for some interest. I love adding white gel pen to his balloon and hat.

What will you find in your older stash to play with? Can't wait to see, don't forget to pop over to Retro Rubber and get inspired by the things the DT have made.

Challenge ends March 25th.

Don't forget to tell us the age of your stamp, that is part of the fun of our challenge and please only enter 10 challenges including Retro Rubber.

Petunia sees you..

Hey,

Hope you had a good weekend..we as you are probably aware got driven indoors by Superstorm Jonas..he was a big one - 30 inches of snow in 24hrs - that is the whole season's snowfall in one session..

Wowzers...

It meant I got to stay in and play at my desk..whoop whoop..

I made this card for a friend who recently got glasses and she is loving them, so this image made me think of her..

It is from the Stamping Bella Petunia Pig series of stamps and I really want to buy a couple more..

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir sparkle pens. The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp.

I mounted it using pop dots onto a yellow spotty piece of card..I think the yellow makes Petunia stand out a bit more.

I've been rifling through my stamps recently to give a few neglected ones a bit of love...

This means my friends are going to get mail bombed :)

Happy Mail..

Hey,

Happy Friday to you.

Today is my last day in London, I head home tomorrow, but tonight I will be going to dinner with my folks.

I wanted to show you the two beautiful cards that Cheiron (left) and Jenn (right) sent me before Christmas..they came with gifts too :)

Happy mail from my inspirational teachers, who I am pleased to say are friends too.

Cheiron's card came with lots of yummy Spectrum Noir pens and pencils and Jenn's came with the great Hero Arts stamp I had coveted..

I love both the cards and Cheiron's is actually a card she made in a class that Jenn taught...awesome.

Love these ladies..

Have a great weekend, I am excited to see my Hubby and the Furbabies..

WOYWW #221 - Wonderful WOYWW snail mail..

Hey there - it is indeed that time of the week already (WOYWW) and I am still excited by the fact that Ma and Amy are here!

I have to go back to work for 2 days tomorrow, then I have the weekend and Labor Day (Monday) with them before they leave..

So as usual I'll start my post by pointing you in the direction of Julia's blog - Stamping Ground..you can learn all about WOYWW there and join in the fun.

My desk is full of wonderful goodies this week - courtesy of my super talented and generous WOYWW friend Kimmie Hogan - the altered art is wonderful and she said in her letter that she wasn't sure if she should send it - WHAT!!! It is so amazing, I am finding it a frame today and hanging it above my desk as a reminder that friends come from all places.
Kimmie it is amazing, she hasn't been well, but manages to be such a generous being. She also sent me the goodies which are stacked at the front of my desk.
Due to my family being here this week, I haven't had time to take proper photos, so I promise to share what Kimmie sent me in full next week - including the gorgeous hand decorated envelope!

Thank you Kimmie, you made my weekend.

Happy WOYWW to you all - I'll swing by your desks later on tonight, once my guests are asleep..
