Dino-mite Dies..

Hey,

Happy Monday!

Today I thought I would share these fun cards I made.

I love Monsters and Dinosaurs and most people know that.

JT sent me this great set of Dino dies by Sizzix. Then I found the great Dino papers by Echo Park on sale, so I bought us both a pad to go with the dies.

I love how these crazy little cards came out. I used Tim Holtz stacked deckle dies to cut the layers and used a little arrow die I have to create a fun little banner for part of my sentiment. The sentiments are by Avery Elle.

Also isn't everything just better with googly eyes?!

Feeling Summery...

Happy Friday everyone!

Well the sun is FINALLY shining in London.

So it felt like a good day to share the fun card I made last week for The Daily Marker 30 days of colouring..which is sadly over now - boo!!

The stencil is by Echo Park and is a new purchase from The Inkpad. I used 3 different distress inks to get the ombre effect.

The sentiment is by Winnie & Walter and the Flamingo is the one that I bought from Michaels in Feb, where the die was made incorrectly :)

Love this card, it is so summery and fresh.

Today is the start of the Olympics and we are having an Olympic party at work...

I'm heading back to NYC tomorrow, so I'll be back at my desk for a play on Sunday - yay!

Retro Rubber #40...Get your Sketch on...

Hey,

Time for another fun challenge from the Retro Rubber team.

This time we have a sketch for you -

Sketch challenges are one of my faves, gives me a good base to start with.

I decided to use a sun stamp from a Fiskars stamp set 'Flower Garden' I have had it since we moved to NYC in 2013, it was one of my first craft purchases that year.

I love this stamp, it is so versatile and I use it a reasonable amount unlike some of my other older stamps...

The hot air balloon is a newish addition to my stash (by Echo Park) and this is the first time its been used!

The sentiment is by Bo Bunny and from a set of mixed sentiments that I've had since 2014.

The whole card was pretty simple to put together. It turned out a bit brighter than I had planned, but that is never a bad thing :)

Now its your turn to get creative using the sketch, but first hop on over to Retro Rubber and see what the sketch inspired my teammates to make.

Challenge ends on June 17th, remember to use a stamp a year or older and tell us about it, also please limit your challenge entries to 10 including ours.

Thanks
