WOYWW #270...Indulgence..

Hi,

Happy WOYWW..as a crafter I know all about Indulgence (why do we have such large stashes?!)

Anyway, before we get into it..if you don't know what WOYWW is by now you need to hop on over to Julia's blog Stamping Ground and find out.

I've been a bit indulgent this week..I bought some stamps from ByLori Designs, some from Hambo, some from Cuddly Buddly and then had to stop myself!!

However as you can see from my desk some other new items arrived too (oops).. misting bottles..I love mini misters, but they are way too pricey. Saw these mini travel bottles with a fine spray nozzle for 99c, so bought them and they work really well. My glasses - the correct craft desk pair, my gym headphones, new bling and chalk tags - 99c each pack and some left overs from die cutting, I am going to use them as masks. Then there is the new dog stamp - $1.50 and a coloured version of it.
Also my approx.18yr old beloved Pentel automatic pencil..I love this pencil. After changing industry after nearly 20 years earlier this year, my pencil holds special meaning to me. He was given to me on my first day of work at my first ever ad agency and I have had him ever since..refilling him time and time again. And yes my pencil is a he!

Here is a little card for you WOYWWer's as usual..using a ByLori stamp :)

Ella stamp by Lori Boyd
Cute right?!

Sorry for the lengthy post :) See you all later.

  1. Hi Claire, I am having so much internet trouble today that you're one of the lucky ones to get a comment at the moment!!! Loving your neat and tidy desk and well done on all your new stash..we just can't help ourselves can we??? You asked what I use to fussy cut? Well usually a dinky pair of scissors, but I have been known to use a craft knife for those tight little areas :) - love the card, beautifully coloured image and really love the yellow, hugs Carole Z X

    1. Hey Carole - no post from you today?! Is that right? Or is Blogger doing odd stuff. I did have dinky scissors, but a late night feline crafter stole them.. Glad you like the card - the Lori Boyd images are awesome. Cx

  2. Hi Claire,
Stunning card, so cheery all dressed in yellow.
I agree with Carole, Blogger has been a bugger this morning. Making comments has been a real pain, some go through, some have to be redone a few times.

    Have a great week

  3. That card is just so cute :) I made myself a crafting bank account from money I got from selling cards. Now as long as there's money in the bank, I don't worry about a splurge here and there!

  7. Hi Claire ... Here I am as requested. The marbles are on my desk because I have been going to some pottery classes (see last weeks post with my yarn bowl) I made a thumb pot, we put the marbles in the bottom when they are fired they melt and form a lovely glass -ey bottom. I will post a picture next week so you can see what I mean. Thanks for your visit

  8. First of all, Claire darling, before I forget, if anyone is ever rude enough to give you American chocolate, know that you can just smile sweetly and then express that crap right to me. It feel it's my duty as an American to represent in this small way. Really, it's no trouble!!

I love how you labeled all your little goodies on your perfect neat desk! Love those misters especially - way to go!! And your card is sweetness itself, beautifully colored and wonderfully summertime sunny!! Thanks for your earlier visit! Happy WOYWW and enjoy your week! Hugs, Darnell #18

  11. Hi Claire, I am a bit late, but better late than never! Loving your card. I love yellow, to me, it's so cherry, happy. One of my very favorite colors. I loved your story of your pencil. Memories are so precious!
