Bugaboo Holiday Chaos Day 7...
Hey,
Happy Friday.
I have the day off today - whoop whoop.
Sadly Hubby and I should be in Copenhagen with my entire company, but due to some health issues on my side we had to opt out.
But I still get the day off and shortly I am off to Hoboken to lunch and craft with two of the Craftgang (Ava and Jamey) yay!!
I had SO much fun playing along with the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge..So sad this is the final day.
It was fun to dig out all my fun Bugaboo Christmas images and it also reminded me how much I love digital stamps.
Today the Day 7 theme is Freebie Bingo..
As it is Friday, it is freebie Friday over at Bugaboo, so you could use the gorgeous free stamp.
I opted to use my latest Bugaboo purchase Voluptuous Valerie and combined her with the bottom bingo row.
I coloured Valerie in non-traditional Christmas colours, using Promarkers and Stickles and used the same colours for my layers and ribbon.
I broke out PEEL OFFS!!! I haven't used those in like 2 years...That was fun to look through that folder :)
I added some Nuvo drops around for some extra sparkle...I mean it is Christmas right?!

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos... Day 6
Hey,
Again I am doing two posts in one day, but I really want to play along with all the days in the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos Challenge, and I am having a lot of fun playing along
Day 6 is Flashback..
The team want us to use an older image and older papers from our stash.
I chose to use a fave Rudi image, that I have had since approx 2011. It was one of the first things I ever bought from Bugaboo and JT and I have fond / horrific memories of this stamp.
It was one of the ones we used to make Christmas Cards during an afternoon way back in 2011 when we made 242 cards..what the HELL!!!
You will notice that the string is missing from the bottom of the ornament, I never loved it, so I retouched it out. I am sticking with my Promarkers and Stickles colouring for this challenge ;) I die cut the white panel using an MFT oval stitched die, I don't use these enough..note to self.
The snowflake paper is form 2010?! How do I know that you ask..well when I was digging through the paper box, I found a partial note about supplies for a craft fair I did in 2010, written on the back of this scrap! There isn't much left of it, hence the tiny strip used. So I added a bit of red paper to break up the white card a bit more.
The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted.
Another superb card for my stash..I have sent all my Christmas cards, but it would seem I am getting forgetful in my old age and I keep finding more people to send to LOL.

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos..Day 5
Just got home from card making class and realised I didn't post my Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge.
Yes, two posts in one day, but it is a lot of fun to pull out old and new Christmas / Holiday focused Bugaboo stamps and play along with all the days of the challenge.
Day 5 Make it Funny...
I decided to use a great Stella stamp called Happy Now?
I do believe I am one of the only people that doesn't moan about the Summer, no matter how hot it gets, so this stamp always makes me laugh.
I felt that the stamp spoke for it's self, so I coloured it with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers. And I added Stickles to make the snow sparkle.
I cut out the panel and mounted it onto a coordinating purple card blank.
Simple fun card. This is one of the things I love about Bugaboo stamps, Jodie gives you sentiments so you can make a card quickly and easily.

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos..Day 4
I am loving the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge, it is giving me a chance to a) make Christmas things again and b) play with all my fave Bugaboo stamps.
Day 4 Clean as Snow..No patterned paper..
Today I am playing with an old fave - Sunbonnet Girl - Christmas Stuff. I love these stamps, as does my Ma, whenever I am making a card for her, she asks me to use one of my collection of Sunbonnet girls :)
It was pretty easy to resist the pull of patterned paper, as the stamp is so detailed.
I coloured her with Promarkers and Stickles - seemingly my default colouring mediums for this challenge!
I die-cut the white panel using a Simon Says Stamp square stitched die and mounted it onto silver paper and a square blue card blank.
I kept the sentiment simple, it's by Trimcraft and I thought it went with the image nicely.

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos.. Day 3
Again I am doing two posts in one day, but I really want to play along with all the days in the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge, so you might see me do this a couple of times this week.
Day 3 Gift Tag using red and white stripes
I decided to mount my gift tag onto a card blank.
I used a mini santa by Bugaboo that I have had for ages (I don't think that they still sell him), I thought he would be perfect on my tag, especially as he has a candy cane, so fits the striped requirement. I coloured him using Promarkers and Stickles.
The tags are my new dies by Lil Inker - gorgeous right?! I thought the green and the red spotty paper went well together and popped out against the striped background.
I stamped the fun 'Santa says you were naughty' sentiment by Unity Stamp Co at the top of my tag. I also punched a hole and added an eyelet and some ribbon to make sure that my tag felt like a gift tag, despite being on a card front.
I love tags, I love buying ready made ones and customising them and I love tag dies, but as these are usually expensive I don't have many of them.
Come back later for the latest Retro Rubber challenge..

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos..Day 2
Hey,
This is a rarity for me - two posts in one day, but I really wanted to get my card in for Day 2 of the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge.
Day 2 is a sketch challenge -
I used a Bugaboo image that I have had forever - Rudi Ornament String. I think I bought it the 2nd year I started card making.
I love it and it is always rolled out at Christmas time.
I coloured him with Promarkers and Stickles glue. The background papers were actually just sitting around on my desk..I had die-cut the scalloped border for something else!
I added a sentiment by Recollections to finish the card off :)
Great sketch to work with and I love the fact that I got to use Rudi again this season.

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos..Day 1
Hey,
Hope you are all having a nice weekend.
I am lounging around watching non-stop NFL..
But I also found time to make my card for the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge.
Day 1 is All that Sparkles.
For my card I used my brand new Holiday Cheer Glass image by Bugaboo, that I chose as part of my recent winnings.
It was such a fun stamp to colour. I used Promarkers to colour the stamp and stickles glues in various colours added the sparkle to my card. The sentiment is by Crafter's Companion.
I die-cut it using a new Stitched Wonky Rectangle die by Lil Inker.
I am really hoping that I can find the time to play along with all 7 days of the challenge.
