Happy Happy Birthday...
Hey,
So at the loft art retreat I bought a set of the new Tim Holtz mini stencils, I bought a set that didn't contain any of the full size ones that I have.
I used Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade through the stencil and spritzed it and then dried it with my heat tool.
I cut it in to a narrow strip and mounted it onto the card blank.
The tag is a shop bought one - I love tags and buy them all the time..its an addiction to go with my many other addictions LOL.
I mounted the tag at a jaunty angle and originally only had the orange Happy Birthday strip (stamp by Simon Says Stamp) I didn't like it, so die cut a Happy in white and added orange embossing powder.
Now I am much happier with my final card :)
I love all these fun techniques using distress inks, they are so versatile and can really change a card from cute to a teeny bit edgy.

A lovely inky card. I haven't succumbed to tag addiction yet, is there a vaccine available? Cara x
