Moving Along With The Times...Stitch in time..

Hi,

Time for Team B again over at MAWTT.

I hope you are enjoying the Summer. I have had a great Summer, just got back from visiting my friends and family in London. Hubby and I also went to 2 weddings whilst we were home and I even managed to squeeze in some Gins with JT.

This week our theme is Stitch in Time...chosen by our lovely leader Hazel.

I was in 2 minds about this card..bring out the sewing machine or not. I went for not and utilised the skills of my Silhouette Portrait instead..

I chose 2 files that had stitching on - a folder tab and a butterfly. I love the textured purple paper from Recollections. The hello was also cut using the Silhouette. The strip of bluey/greeny paper is a watercolour piece I made, using pearlescent watercolours. The lined paper is something I have had forever..I found them in a drawer when I changed my job once..As a final touch I added some co-ordinating blue bling.

This card is so cheery..I need to send it to someone.

Pop over the MAWTT to see the great cards by the rest of the DT and join in the fun.

Cx

  4. Hi Claire! Thanks for the nice comment you left on my blog. I am thrilled to be sharing "the spotlight" with you on Kim's blog, too!! I was so disappointed that I couldn't get anyone to keep the creative blog going...I asked several people...all had either already done it or were not interested. But, it's still fun to do and I'm happy to be a part! :) Your card you are featuring on your blog is darling! Enjoy your day!
