Retro Rubber Challenge #187 - Tic Tac Toe..

Hey,

Welcome to another awesome Retro Rubber challenge.

We have a tic-tac-toe board for you.

I went with the central vertical row - Birds-Green-Embossing.

I love this set by Vicki Boutin 'All the Good Things 2' it was a gift from my friend in 2018 because she saw it and knew I was looking for it :).

I stamped, cut, and coloured the bird using a minty green Copic and a green Sakura starburst glitter gel pen. I used MFT 'Bold Greenery' dies for the foliage and a spotty green paper. The background I stenciled with a stencil from The Range in the UK and Mowed Lawn distress oxides.

For my embossing, I used a very old Cuttlebug star embossing folder - hands up who has a Cuttlebug still? I die cut it using a stitched circle die from The Works in the UK.

The final touch is the sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions.

Such a sweet card, I am so happy with the outcome.

Funky AALL & Create Girls..

Hello!

Continuing with my promise to post a bit more...

I thought I would share these fun cards that I made a while ago..

I love messing around with watercolours and creating stripey backgrounds is my fave thing.

I am also a huge AALL & Create fan and decided to make some funky cards using these Janet Klein girls.

Super easy to make, I just painted the backgrounds, cut them to size and added some collagey bits on top and then added the girls.

They make me smile a lot!

June Digital Scrapbooking Layouts..

Hello!

I have been neglecting my blog a bit...

I know you get my fortnightly challenge cards, but there is SO much more going on.

So I thought I would start a new trend of adding in a few random posts here and there :)

Starting with my faves from my June Scrapbooking layouts.

For Oscraps new release by Natali Designs

I play at Oscraps (where I am on the CT), The Lilypad, The Digital Press, Pixel Scrapper and Sweet Shoppe Designs. And I was on the design team for The Nifty Pixel, the CT for Buzzbee Scraps, and a guest with ninigoesdigi. PHEW!

In June I made 40 layouts - even with a week out for Covid!

I also made a bunch of cards, so I'll get those up in another post :)

For TDP Designer Challenge - Little Lamm Co

For SSD challenge using a mix of River Rose and Kelly Bangs Creative

So what do you think? 

The main photo was for Oscraps and I used their free with purchase collab kit.

I find scrapping a lot of fun and super rewarding. Not dissimilar to card making.

Fusion Card Challenge - Hello Hat..

Welcome to another fantastic Fusion Card Challenge.

This time we have 'Hello Hat' for you! As always both the sketch and the inspiration image are awesome.

Which will you try?

I loved both, so I fused them!

I loved the hat and I was going to go with a hello sentiment, but after I decided to use the super cute Budgie from Clearly Besotted 'Making Budgie Plans' I went summer-themed.

I used a fun pineapple embossing folder for the yellow panel and after I had stamped my sentiment on the white panel, I added a bunch of stars just for fun. The sentiments are both from Simon Says Stamp 'Warm Weather Animals' - this is one of my all-time fave sets.

I love how fun and summery this card is!

Retro Rubber Challenge #186 - Sketch Challenge...

Welcome to another fun Retro Rubber challenge. I hope you all had a fun 4th of July weekend if you are in the Americas, Hubby and I had a great weekend.

We have a sketch for you this time, you know how much I love a sketch!

I rotated the sketch and decided to use this gorgeous butterfly that was on my desk, it's by Clearly Besotted 'Elegant Butterflies' and I have had it since 2016.

I loved the colour I had stamped it in, so I chose papers that worked well with it and suited the sketch.

Here is a close-up, as the sentiment strip is foiled and is hard to photograph!

The floral paper is by Stampin' Up and everything else is a scrap, the sentiment strip is by Taylored Expressions. I love how pretty and delicate this card feels.
