Hey,
Time for another fun challenge with the Retro Rubber team.
This time we have a sketch for you -
I used two quite old stamp sets - Kinda Eclectic by Stampin' Up (starburst) 2015, Unforgettable Today by Dear Lizzy (bike) 2014. I heat embossed the starburst first and then also heat embossed the bike, I felt pretty brave.
I added some washi tape from my stash and the sentiment is a Concord & 9th stamp with a Pink Fresh Studio sticker.
I think it's going to work really well as a male birthday card.
Your turn to show us what you can do with the sketch and pop over to Retro Rubber and get inspired by the things my teammates have made..
Challenge ends June 30th. Don't forget to tell us the age of your stamp, that is part of the fun of our challenge and please only enter 10 challenges including Retro Rubber.

Go you with your bravery! This is a fab masculine card and a great way to use washi tape. Going to crawl back into the fridge now, British summers aren't meant to be this warm....
ReplyDeleteClaire, your card is gorgeous! You got it great for a guy, I love every detail. Bikes are so popular right now in the card making world. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love the sense of energy and fun that your card has. The funky font, the starburst and the washi all add to the feel. Lovely card, Claire.
ReplyDeleteClaire, stamping the bicycle so that it runs off or onto paper is such a great way to display the image! This card is so summery... love it!
ReplyDeletePerfect masculine card for summer birthdays or any occasion! I admire your embossing skills and starting the images off to the side. Wonderful CAS card, my friend!!
ReplyDeletedouble embossed OFF THE EDGE for the *WIN*!!!!!!!! (there is absolutely nothing un-amazing about this one, missus!) <3
ReplyDeleteLove this awesome masculine card, the burst of yellow in the back of this bike, makes it pop of the page, love the washi tape detail too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, teammie.
Hugs,
Maria.
i know i already enthused over this amazing card, but i have to come back & tell you that this card got the "OH WOW" seal of approval from my husband, when i showed it to him, while i was making my card! he even specifically asked how many stamps were used and if they were made to go in the corner or if you let them run off the edge like that. (i have trained him well in the art of observing cards, lol!!!) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Love how the starburst suggests movement! So you embossed over embossing? What?!?! Creative mind!! Great colors and washi is the perfect touch❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteWonderfully fun interpretation of the sketch !
