Hey,
Happy Friday
I'm so happy to be back again with my second Guest post for Sweet Stamps..
If you missed my first post you can see it here.
I chose the Christmas Mouse stamp for my second card...I loved him when I saw him shortly after Christmas, but knew I could make him work for other occasions.
I printed out the Mouse quite big deliberately because I wanted him to be the main focus of my card. I coloured him using Promarkers.
I played around with lots of different layouts until I realised that he would work best with a 'wallpaper' style background.
I used an ancient stamp set from 2008 by Papermania for the sentiment - this was the first sentiment only stamp set that I ever bought and I am still using it..
The funky triangle paper came from my recent trip to Amsterdam from a random, non crafty shop.
The glittery silver strip is washi tape - that I keep for 'best' LOL.
My whole card is a tribute to using things in different ways - don't be afraid of using your Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween stamps for other occasions - your stamps have so many uses, especially digital stamps, as you can make them as big or small as you want.
Go over to the Sweet Stamps shop and have a look around at all the goodies they have.
I've really enjoyed this mini two post guest series, big thanks to the Sweet Stamps team for having me with them.
Have a great weekend, I'm heading home tomorrow, so I'll be heading out with my work colleagues tonight :)

Love the way you've used him for a non-Christmas card and used your best washi tape too! He must be honoured. Cara x
