WOYWW #247...tidy desk, busy mind..



Well here we are - Weds again and time for WOYWW..that wonderful time of the week, where we join Julia over at Stamping Ground and showcase our desks.

My desk is pretty tidy right now. It was a tip, but then I had a mad frenzy of activity on Monday night and did lots of stuff, so its all clear now...bar my mouse, a punch, roll of foam tape, box of charms and some finished cards in front of my Promarkers (I will take better photos to show you them later in the week).

My head is full of things for my trip home, in an attempt to calm myself down, I have been packing up a little travelling craft kit for my trip..I am curious to know what everyone else puts in their travelling kits, mine seems to be growing to the size of my craft space!

I recently bought some lovely grungy stamps by Bo Bunny, as I saw a Stampin' Up set I liked, but couldn't justify the expense..

I have made a couple of cards so far and I love them..here they are just for you WOYWWers.

This one is based on a Pinterest idea that I LOVE and I even managed to use my new Heart Gems that came in the post from JT.

    These are both really cool Claire I love your grungy stamps, might have to invest in some of those even if I'm not supposed to be shopping!
    Good luck on packing a travel kit, I'd end up with an extra suitcase of stash just encase I needed something!!!

      You'll be happy to know CB that it doesn't look like that anymore, that was Tues morning, before chaos on Tues night, now it is back to it's normal messy state!

    Love your cards! Your work space does look tidy! I don't know how far you are travelling or how but when I go to France or Italy I take whatever fits into an old VHS box - pens, small journal, neo-colours, a water brush, a few unmounted stamps and some well chosen scraps of papers. I usually prepare some pages in my journal before a trip. Thanks for your visit earlier, Chris 75
    BTW I don't usually do invitations - it's only for my son - I don't think I'll be doing any more!!!

    Yep, new stamps are great to take out the packet and stamp up for the first time, so exciting!!
    I never take crafting on holiday with me....like to have a complete break and a good book instead, how bad is that!!

    I do love your new stamps and what you've done with them. Yippee! for the tidy desk so I don't feel like such a freak. I never know what to bring in my traveling craft kit. I try to figure out a project and then pack the stuff for that. It can be a broad project like "cards made with paper pack" and then I'll find stamps and embellishments that match it to bring along. It is way too hard to figure out what to bring. I'm having a crafty day at a friend's one Friday and I ponder just this when I have a free moment... what to bring??! Judy # 100

    Love the grungy stamps, love your cards even more, how fab, and the grungy stamps allow such great colours too, which you tapped into straight away! I no longer take craft stuff on holiday, (except crochet)... It all becomes too difficult to choose and then...hmm, i rarely even use it. odd.
