Prima Princess: Victoria..

Hey,

Happy Friday!

I finally got my hands on this rather large Prima Princess 'Victoria'.

I have wanted her for quite a while, but she is SO big I won't use her that much, so I needed her to be at the right price point!

I decided it would be fun to stamp her onto a few watercolour postcards, meaning I get to fit most of her onto a 'card'.

For my first playtime with her I decided to follow the example on the packaging and I am super pleased with the end result.

I love leaving her un-coloured, it makes the flowers pop even more.

Hope you have a fun weekend planned..I am OBVIOUSLY getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow am to watch the Royal Wedding..LOL..take the girl out of England..

Rockstar thanks...

Hey,

Hubby and I have a great friend called Hazel and she made our wedding invites.

She is a prolific bobble hat knitter and when I saw no.70, I fell in love!

Isn't he gorgeous?! So Hazel sent him to my parents house and I picked him up on Sunday and I have been wearing him ever since.

I had to make an impromptu thank you card for the hat and as I happened to bring my new Rockstar Pets stamp set by Brutus Monroe with me, I thought it would make a fun card for Hazel.

I stamped the Bulldog from the set onto a watercolour postcard and coloured him using Distress Inks.

Love the card made in with limited supplies in my makeshift craft 'space' and the hat is just too gorgeous for words.

CASE: Concord & 9th and Dots..

Hey,

Welcome to December?!  ALREADY?!

I made these a while ago, but did not post them and as they are getting ready to go to a friend, I thought I'd share them with you.

After a class that Cheiron taught, I really wanted the Wildflowers set by Concord & 9th, it is so versatile.

I used the stamps to create scenes on postcards, but they felt a bit flat and I had seen this on Pinterest

And realised that dots would be the perfect way to liven up the scenes.

It worked so well, I have been using it all over the place!!

Both cards were coloured using distress inks and an aquabrush, the dots were added using a Letraset 0.3 finetip black pen.

I love both cards..dots make a bit difference.

As always I like to list the CASE source, in this case Dear Paperlicious - her blog is beautiful, you really should check it out.
