Retro Rubber #185 - Mod Circles..

Hey,

Welcome to another fun Retro Rubber challenge.

This time is all about circles!

Circles are one of my most overused shapes! I love the way they can make a card!

I went in a different direction here and created a smooshed distress ink background and stamped a bunch of the circles from the Ellen Hutson 'Bokeh Dots' set - I have had this since 2018 and it's SO inky lol.

The robot was a last-minute decision as it looked a bit sparse! This is one of my fave sets and is by Kelly Purkey for Hero Arts 'Kelly's Super Cool' - a very old set as I have had it since 2016.

Weirdly the sentiment was stamped already and on my desk!

It has already left my desk and is on it's way to a dude!

How will the circles inspire you? Don't forget to stop by Retro Rubber and get inspired by the things the DT has made.

Challenge ends July 1st.

Don't forget to tell us the age of your stamp, that is part of the fun of our challenge, and please only enter 10 challenges including Retro Rubber.

  1. Claire... this card is so very retro! Love the smooshed background and layered circles. The wee robot just cracks me up... that old set is certainly a keeper! Thanks so much for the invite to GD this week.

  2. Lol, I laughed out loud when I saw this, Claire - that robot is so classic, lol, what a quirky design for him to float in! Love those color splashes, too!

  3. What a fun way to use those circles! The sentiment is a perfect addition to those little robots too! Great guy card!
