WOYWW #448 - It's total chaos...

Hey,

Bit late to the party today, but still managing to play along with WOYWW.

Today is my last day at work - I am having an enforced hiatus, due to my work permit not turning up in time (sigh). I have decided to not be a slob and have early morning gym sessions planned and lots of crafty projects to keep me alert and out of mischief.

Yeah, so my desk is a hot mess...this is the result of an epic playtime on Monday!

So what can you see? Me!! My computer, my keyboard - which is covered in bits of scrap papers and papers I have pulled out for something else. To the left of my keyboard is a planned out card teetering on top of all the stamp sets I pulled out for my DT makes over at Retro Rubber. At the front you can see punches, cardstock, small trimmer, scissors, some silhouette couple cards I am mid-way through, stamp block, headphones, mouse and pens. That disgustingly coloured pot to the right is my waterpot..sometimes when the things start to grow out of the top I empty it..

Obviously with my first day off tomorrow I'll be trying to tame this beast.

Here is a different colourway of the silhouette couple..I'm thinking Anniversary cards.

See you later for a nosy.

P.s - any WOYWWers going to Crop on the Cape in March? Because if you are I want to smooch you and buy you Gin!

  1. Ha ha! I'm the same with my waterpot - usually the smell wafting through gets me before anything starts crawling out! LOL! Your desk does not look chaotic, it looks like you are very busy with a purpose in mind! The silhouette cards are cute! Have a wonderful 2018, Lindart #28

  2. I think you'll get a few takers for gin at the Crop, lol!! I'd come myself if March wasn't already chock-a-block :-D. What a pain about your permit...do you have to come back to the UK while it's being processed? Well done for keeping yourself busy, I suspect I'd slob if I was in your position :-D

  4. Happy New Year Claire. Trust your work permit gets sorted quickly. Erm... your desk is SO NOT that bad! The crop sounds good - but I'm afraid I'm on the wrong continent... Sorry, can't hang out with you.
    Take care. God bless.

  8. Too funny; for all the years I lived on the Cape, I never did the crop. Have fun! And while I hope your permit comes soon, I'm sure you will enjoy the time to craft, and ok, maybe go to the gym (shudder).
    Have a great week.

  9. Love that smooching couple! Seriously, hot mess? I think my crafting table of doom must be the temperature of the centre of the sun then! I made my cheese card mostly on the chopping board as there was nowhere to find a flat surface to stamp on otherwise!

  10. I can seeeee you! Bit of a bummer about the work permit, is that normal? bad red tape? How frustrating. You’ll be miles ahead on DT deadlines! The smooch couple is wonderful, I have a My Hero Stamp that would look fab.....yep, can use that no prob!
If Crop on the Cape were later in the year, I would seriously seriously like to do it. Specially where there’s gin involved. Went to a Creative Escape in Phoenix years ago and I think me and my chum were the only people who drank! Awkward.
